Random, sudden and/or long-standing realisations. Lalala :D

Disclaimer: very cliched and opinionated. Don't bother to correct it or disagree with it.
  1. Every girl who's grown up with "kuch kuch hota hai" and "dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge" has loved Shahrukh Khan. And has nodded to the song "mere khwabon mein" from DDLJ, at some point in their lives.
  2. We've all been through the "i hate bollywood songs and only listen to metal and rap" phase.
  3. We've all liked the first few, or maybe atleast one song of Himesh Reshammiya at some point.
  4. The girls who're my age, have at some point had a crush on Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys, and have liked their music.
  5. Admitt it, you liked Titanic when it first came out.
  6. You also liked Pretty Woman and Notting Hill. Yes, YOU too.
  7. We've all thought we were in forever-lasting love at some point in our lives.
  8. We've all cried while watching "Taare Zameen Pe".
  9. We've all clicked random, self obsessed pictures of ourselves from the first camera phone in the house.
  10. We've all said "anywayS" at some point. Or had an email ID that was really lame- like coolgal88 or soemthing like that :D (I'd have mentioned "LOL" but i never said it or used it)
  11. We've been judgemental regarding gender, beauty, race etc at some point.
  12. There'll always be something that happened or you did, that you've told no-one about. There could be more, but this one's for those people who feel the need to tell everything to everyone, and have different people to share different things with.

I'm bored now. Leave a comment if you nodded even once during that :D

Nice post. I am proposing a couple of amendments. I am of course looking at it from the most narrow and judgmental point of view of a guy
...you liked Titanic when it first came out - Loved it even more when it went into the ocean, in the sense of "wow! what special effects", when the females of the species were sniffling and wiping away little teardrops and scowling at me for being such a heartless berk.

There'll always be something that happened or you did, that you've told no-one about..... Yeah and my wife can find out in like seventeen point two three seconds. I am in denial for about a minute and then it's confession time.

Huh! I hate SRK. That guy irritates the hell out of me. Thats been the case, always.

I still like Titanic. I have fond memories. I think Kate Winslet was the first completely nude women I have seen.

If we are smart, resp. pretty, there is no harm in clicking pictures of ourselves;). Infact, I have a folder titled Ram. I suggest you create one.

And you are tagged.

I meant create one titled 'Ram' in which you keep my pictures. Nobody is interested in your pictures:P:P:P

confounded lady: Wow, i wasn't expecting anyone to all. Infact I thought this one was going to be kinda controversial and open to judgements, and I was waiting for that :D

v: So true. Although by saying that, you totally grab all the attention. Esp the last nobody !

Shenoy (I'm not supposed to call you uncle or something na? :D) : Yes, I was one of those who were deeply affected by the "special effects".. Couldnt sleep for a couple of months. Seriously. And i was the butt of everyone's jokes for a realllllly long time. Finally, people have come to terms with the fact that I genuinely like Titanic with all its cliches. Does not mean i like "Every night in my dreams", though. Ewww.

OK: I should've added that for all the girls who've loved SRK, the same ratio of guys have hated him. Its a known fact.

Awww :D so typical of you to like titanic for that reason. I reallly didnt see that.

And Maybe after I'm done creating a folder in my computer with all your pictures, i could stand for the post of the 2nd woman President of India and live my childhood dream.
(Okay, defensive sarcasm sucks. I should learn some from you)

Apart from Pretty Woman & Backstreet Boys (boy, am I not proud of myself) - am guilty of most! :D

Nice post.

Liked SRK, Titanic and cried during Taare Zameen Pe?

AWWWW :D

Oh crap, i forgot the SRK clause was for girls only. But "Awww" nonetheless :)

Boy, oh, boy! Taare Zameen Par was the limit! It was the first movie that made me cry (there are only two; the second being 'The Kite Runner'). I could relate to TZP (no, I am not dyslexic) and when that goddamned 'Ma' song came, MAN! I was watching it with two guys on the laptop and we were in a different continent, hadn't been home in more than a year and (most importantly) living on pasta, rice, rice, rice (it's hard for the Northies to eat them in every meal), brownies, coke and chips. So, throughout the whole song, the three of us were sitting on the bed and crying our hearts out. Now, we're so ashamed of the memory that we never discuss it. :P
As for Notting Hill, I still like it...and er, #9 and #12 still hold true. As for the Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye song and all that SRK stuff, nope. No, no, I am not lying. I don't mind him much but I've never really liked KKHH or DDLJ songs.
